Construction Documents

Once the project reaches the Design Development Phase, our team will prepare a Scope of Work. That Scope of Work will define the parameters of the project and be the guideline by which the project will be economically estimated by a contractor and reviewed by a building department. A set of plans (referred to as Construction Document) will be prepared detailing how the project is to be constructed.

An experienced team of architectural professionals, guided by one of the firm’s principals, will oversee this process. Engineering consultants will be brought on board and directed by an experienced RMCA project manager. Our completed plans will be submitted to the City Building Department for review and permit. Once cleared by all departments, the Construction Document will be released to a contractor for a negotiated pricing or competitive bidding. After a contract is signed, the project will be ready for construction.
